Summary: 1 flat white quartzite whetstone found with a primary inhumation in bowl barrow Winterbourne Stoke G8, excavated by William Cunnington.

Research results

A Bronze Age whetstone found with a primary inhumation in bowl barrow Winterbourne Stoke G8, excavated by William Cunnington. Other gravegoods from the barrow included beads, a beaver incisor and awl, as well as a second whetstone. This stone is of a local sarsen.
