The Wessex Museums Trust is seeking a Chair and Treasurer to join our trustee board at an exciting time in our development.
We are looking for trustees who hold strong connections to the region as well as a passion for art, culture and heritage.
The Wessex Museums Partnership comprises the four museums which best tell the stories of Dorset and Wiltshire from prehistoric times to the present day – Dorset County Museum, Poole Museums, The Salisbury Museum and Wiltshire Museum. Together we are a charitable incorporated organisation – the Wessex Museums Trust - and an Arts Council England National Portfolio Organisation. Our ambition is to inspire more people to explore and enjoy the outstanding art and heritage of our region.
The Wessex Museums Trust is a relatively new charity which supports the work of the four partner museums and more widely, museums across Dorset and Wiltshire. We have an ambitious programme to deliver over the next four years alongside the need to develop our charity into a resilient and sustainable organisation.
