Out of Egypt: Online Activities

Out of Egypt is our latest special exhibition, on loan from Hampshire Cultural Trust. Featuring real Egyptian artefacts brought here over time. Discover how ancient Egyptians treated their dead and see genuine objects placed in the tomb for the afterlife, including scarabs and mummified animals, mummy masks and wrappings, shabti (a figurine found in many ancient Egyptian tombs) figures and jewellery.
For safety reasons we cannot have interactives in the gallery, so instead we have uploaded a number of activities and craft inspiration on our website for you to explore at home.
